Montana Board of Housing

This company is the worst to deal with. They messed up my escrow account and after almost 2 year they found the mistake leaving my escrow accout negative over $5000. They will not take ownership of their mistake and blame it on me. I would never recommend them for a mortgage loan.

I called to let them know i was going to be late with a payment due to my bank account getting hacked and asked "Is this going to affect my credit score since I'll be a little bit late this month?" To which the gal replied "No, don't worry, I'll make a note on your account." Little over a week later my credit dropped because of a *missed payment.* When I called MBOH back to see if they could fix it I was told "Sorry, we can't help you." Very upset with them. Will never go through them again...

Montana Board of Housing can not calculate HUD rents right. They miscalculated mine by $750 for a year, they did not return money to me but to the slumlord of the building. Their inspections are a joke, landlords do not fix buildings and the HUD inspectors for MT Board of Housing over look health issues, code violations they say so people can have a place to live. I had to confront them for over four months in order to get the credit. Be aware that they do not know the formulas and how to calculate them, they will let you rent a unit that should be condemned.

Loved my time with MBOH. Great customer service and no machine phone calls. Plus, loan numbers are only four digits long. Highly recommend them to anyone.

When you go to sell in your house they lie to you. So they can over charge so they can make more money. I would not Recommend using the Montana border housing!!!!!!!!!!
